Q&A

Why wouldn’t I just hire a full-time Instructional Designer?

Even at a Senior level, most Instructional Designers have no experience in writing copy or UX design, very few have extensive experience in multimedia. To hire the team we provide would cost a minimum $250,000/year in salaries.

Is there a limit to how many requests I can have?

No. You may place an unlimited number of requests in your queue. One task will be completed and approved before moving to the next. If you are designing an entire course, each LDS is one task as is each SSB, etc. It is your choice to complete all LDS first before SSB or if you prefer to take each lesson through the process before moving on to the next.

How fast will I receive my designs?

Text products average 48 hours, while media products can be between 2-4 days depending on quantity and complexity of the task.

What if I don’t know what I need?

When you sign up for RevampED, you will receive a welcome email and a recommended workflow. You are not required to stick with this workflow and may modify it at any point to best suit your development as you progress through your project. It will, however, provide you a solid foundation in starting your process efficiently until you know what best work for you will.

How does the pause feature work?

Pause your service whenever your workload is complete and restart when new projects are ready to begin. If you pause in the middle of your subscription, your days remaining will be there waiting when you restart. Pausing prevents your data and files from being eliminated from the system as it would for a cancelled service.

What programs do you design in?

We use a variety of industry standard programs, such as Adobe, as well as the latest in AI, VR, and AR.

How do I request designs?

RevampED uses design boards for submitting requests, revisions, and receiving your finished products. These boards keep all communication accessible to all parties.

What if I don’t like the design?

You have an unlimited number of revisions. New tasks do not begin until you are satisfied with the previous design. However, you can retask any task that you want changed as the development of the course is taking place and ensure the final course is accurate and effective.

Is there any design work you don’t cover?

Currently, multimedia graphics have a limit to video length and 3D renderings are limited to one element at a time to keep the project moving quickly.

What if I only have a single request?

Make your one request and make unlimited revisions. When your request is complete, pause your subscription until a later date or cancel entirely.
